A sealed unit (double or triple) is a combination of two or more panes of glass separated by a spacer bar and sealed with a primary and secondary sealants, forming a single airtight unit with an air space in between. By combining different types of glass, we can offer solutions to a range of different problems. Using Low E (low emissivity) glass helps keep the heat in your rooms in winter, and stops excessive heat gain from the sun. Laminated glass provides increased security, reduces noise and also blocks 99% of UV light, reducing sun damage of fabrics and artwork.
